This series records funds received from state and county offices into the treasury. The series contains the receipt number, from who received, county, amount of gold and silver, U.S. currency, warrants, state money, and "obligations under the Act of 12-19-1873." This series is similar in function to the modern Deposit Sheet series, S-8-18 and the Daily Receipts to Register and Summary of Receipts series created by the Dept. of Finance, Division of Control and Accounts, scheduled as S-9-8 and S-9-10.
